How to Apply Foundation Perfectly

 Foundation is the most amazing invention to most women. Without foundation we are not ourselves anymore; without foundation all of our photos will lose their glamour; without foundation we will be as nervous as those kids who can't find their precious toys.

1. You MUST moisturize your skin before you put on any make up.

All the girls should moisturize their skin before they apply the foundation no matter they have oily skin or dry skin. If your skin is too dry, the foundation will leave dry patches on your skin and that's very horrible.

2. Use professional primer (make up base) before foundation for a better base.

No one has perfect skin so we need a bottle of professional primer for a better base. Good make up base can minimize all the imperfections and leave a smooth base for foundation. With this step, it will be easier for you to apply the foundation and the foundation will also last longer.

3. Use corrector or concealer according to your own needs.

If you have dark circles under your eyes, you may cover them with the concealer. Before you put on any concealer around your eyes, please moisturize the skin around your eyes because usually concealer is much drier than common foundation.

To cover spots, blemishes or freckles, you can apply some concealer on them and keep patting until the concealer melt on your skin. If you need better coverage, you can repeat this step.

4. Which is the best tool, the hand, the brush or the sponge?

Generally speaking, you can select your favorite tools according to the texture of your foundation. Usually we suggest you use a brush or a sponge for perfect visual effects.

For creamy or thick foundation, you'd better use a brush with flat top. A flat top brush saves your foundation because you need only a small amount of foundation to cover your whole face and neck. When you apply the foundation with a flat top brush, you will find all your pores go invisible and your skin looks extremely clear.

A sponge leaves a proper amount of foundation on your face and this gives you a clear and semi-matte finish.

5. Never should you forget to use the loose powder.

I think it's still necessary for me to repeat the advantages of loose powder. Loose powder acts as a protector for your face and it prevents your skin from becoming shiny or oily too quickly.
